The skin is made from treated natural animal hide and is stretched very tightly over the neck of the drum, attached to strong black cording. The drum has a braided handle for comfort and ease of playing.

A perfect item for children or a percussionist who wants a higher tone from a drum. Also makes a great gift! This djembe drum would be an excellent gift for children or, just a great decorative item. For those keen on learning to play the djembe then a size of 30cm and above is recommended.
