This stunning large djembe drum has been hand made in Ghana and features elegant traditional patterns hand carved on the base and also around the neck of the drum.

The drums skin is taught with natural animal hide and features a soft corded frame and braided handle for ease of use whilst playing. It is made of a light timber, giving it fine resonance and also it is relatively light when in use by the player.

As it has been handmade, it makes this a very unique and special product. A perfect gift!

Measures approx. 60 cm high (24"), 38 cm width (15") and a the base 26cm (10").

- A djembe hat which is used to protect the head of your drum when not in use. This helps to prolong the life of the djembe.

- A djembe tutorial book for beginners. This 32 page book contains chapters on the correct posture to have when playing, the different types of playing styles available, basic exercises and rhythm arrangements for playing in groups. There is also a CD included with the book which has 66 tracks offering advice on everything you need to learn to progress your playing. This book is perfect for those who would like improve their djembe playing skills.
