60cm Carved Djembe from Ghana, Africa

This stunning large djembe drum has been hand made in Ghana and features elegant traditional patterns hand carved on the base and also around the neck of the drum. The drums skin is taught with natural animal hide and features a soft corded frame and braided handle for ease of use whilst playing. It is made of a light timber, giving it fine resonance and also it is relatively light when in use by the player.

 
As it has been handmade, it makes this a very unique and special product. A perfect gift!

Measures approx. 60 cm high (24"), 38 cm width (15") and a the base 26cm (10").
