A great unique gift idea from HandcraftedUK! The Antara is an instrument that is similar to the panpipe. Panpipes played an important part in Incan Culture as the men believed the whistling from the instrument was a means to communicate with the Gods. This Antara has been handmade in Peru and imported into the UK.

This Antara makes a striking first impression - We'd never seen them this large before we got our hands on some! It consists of one row of twenty three pipes and measures a large 45cm (17.5") in length by 37cm (14.5") in diameter. A colourful woven border decorates the top of the instrument and the pipes have been finished with a dark varnish to give them an eye-catching appearance.

This Antara would be an ideal gift to give to those who like to collect unusual musical instruments or are interested in Native American culture.
