Panpipes played an important part in Incan Culture as the men believed the whistling from the instrument was a means to communicate with the Gods. This Antara has been handmade in Peru and imported into the UK.

This Antara makes a striking first impression - We'd never seen them this large before we got our hands on some! It consists of one row of twenty three pipes and measures a large 45cm (17.5") in length by 37cm (14.5") in diameter. A colourful woven border decorates the top of the instrument and the pipes have been finished with a dark varnish to give them an eye-catching appearance.

This Antara would be an ideal gift to give to those who like to collect unusual musical instruments or are interested in Native American culture.
