The Ocarina is an ancient instrument that dates back some 12,000 years. The Mayan and Aztec cultures both produced their own versions of this ethnic instrument. However, it was the Aztec's that first used the Ocarina for song and dance and it was their version that became popular throughout Europe.

The Ocarina is a very easy instrument to play. Whilst blowing through one end, placing different combinations of fingers over the holes will produce a wide range of sounds.
