The Zampona is an instrument that is similar to the panpipe. Panpipes played an important part in Incan Culture as the men believed the whistling from the instrument was a means to communicate with the Gods. This Zampona has been handmade in Peru and imported into the UK.

The Zampona (also referred to as a Siku) consists of two rows and a total number of thirteen pipes. This Zampona measures 30cm (12") in length by 11cm (4.5") in diameter. A colourful woven border decorates the top of the instrument and the pipes have been finished with a dark varnish to give them an eye-catching appearance. This Zampona comes with a presentation box so it would make an excellent gift.
