These Russian Dolls have been handmade using the traditional art of pyrographing. This means that a hot flame is used to mark the wood in order to produce a pattern. In this case, the pattern on each doll consists of traditional style Russian buildings which have been finished with a gold coloured paint.

There are six dolls in total and each one nests into another. They look great on display and would make an ideal gift for those who have an interest in Russian items.

The tallest doll measures 16cm (6") in height and 9cm (3.5") in diameter.
