7cm diameter. Buddhist item used for Meditation, Yoga and Sound Healing.

Starting at: £16.99

A great ethnic gift idea from HandcraftedUK!

Singing Bowls have been used for centuries by practicing Buddhists. It is believed that using one alongside meditation can lead one onto the true path of Enlightenment. This beautiful copper bowl has been imported from Nepal and is very easy to use. Just rotate the dibber around the outside of the rim to produce a harmonious and relaxing sound.

This Singing Bowl would be a lovely gift for those who are interested in Tibetan and Buddhist cultures. It would also be appreciated by those who like to receive unusual items. The items arrive to you in a beautiful box containing an instruction pad which gives guidance on how to use the Singing Bowl.

The bowl measures 7cm (3") in diameter and 5cm (2") in depth. The dibber measures 13cm (5") in length, and the mat 11cm (4.5") in diameter.

Our optional extras for this Tibetan Singing Bowl include:

- A leather stick which aids the player in creating a constant pressure between the bowl and the stick. Making the singing bowl easier to play and also 'sing' for an increased duration.

- Mala prayer beads. Used throughout Tibet, these beads are used to keep count whilst reciting mantras or the names of deities. There are 108 beads made from Rosewood.

- An instruction book giving you practical information on how to use your singing bowl effectively. The book also covers the history of the bowls and their use in sound therapy.

SPECIAL OFFER: Buy all three of the optional extras together and save over 10% when compared to buying them individually.
