The Irish shamanic drum is very similar in style to the Bodhran. The only differences being that the tipper is replaced with a one-ended beater and also that the shamanic drum produces a richer and deeper tone than the Bodhran.

This drum would be an excellent gift for those with an interest in unusual musical instruments. It is one of our largest shamanic drums and measures an impressive 45cm (18") in diameter. The drum is airbrushed with a traditional Celtic pattern which really makes it a bit of an eye-catcher!
